A Renaissance is coming
to Old West Baltimore

Once the epicenter of Black culture in Baltimore, West Baltimore is on the verge of a resurgence.

Our initiative will revitalize West Baltimore by investing in dynamic, mixed-income communities that celebrate the area’s heritage while strengthen its future.

Where the Renaissance is happening

The Old West Baltimore Renaissance initiative invests in the historic neighborhoods of Harlem Park, Upton, Sandtown-Winchester, Druid Heights, and Madison Park, as well as adjacent neighborhoods of Franklin Square, Penrose/Fayette St Outreach, Reservoir Hill, and Union Square.

As part of our commitment to creating thriving mixed-income communities, we cater to individuals from all income levels. Through the initiative, we offer a variety of housing options, from rooming house rentals to single-family homes for sale.
